I'm 6'5 and I picked up a helmet few months ago, space is kind of tight with a helmet on but nothing that you will not be able to handle for short time. Previously I had an s2000 that I "manage" to fit in for few years lol, isf is "much" bigger inside, ohh and put your helmet on when you get into your F, it's kind of bumpy to get in with it on lol

I know its not going to be perfect, but hopefully enough to still be able to drive a few hot laps
It will be very tight. I'm 6'2" with a 33"-34" inseam in 501s and I scrape the headliner with my Bell M-3. Many HPDEs will not allow M rated hats. SA2010 or SFI rated hats will meet any club's requirements.

picked up a Pyrotect open face SA2010 rated helmet. I was blown away that with the seat all the way downI fit with a helmet. There is maybe 1/4 between the helmet and the headliner but it works ! I am excited to see what the F can do on a road course.

To the OP, just wanted to ask if you used an open faced helmet or closed face helmet for track days

Closed face. Nothing really against open face, but from my motorcycle days I just prefer closed face helmets. It's a Shoei Qwest - got it for a good price at $300. I picked up some cheap driving gloves, too. They aren't nomex or anything, but they fit and feel well and I think they'll be handy when the weather gets hot. These ones:

I wear these. But I got them issued to me and had a few spare pairs when I retired from the Air Force. Thanks Uncle Sam!
