Interest in a Glendora Mtn. Road (GMR) Cruise
Just wanted to see some of the ISF family, I mentioned at the last cruise I hosted (mulholland) that I wanted to set one up at GMR, which is one of my favorites to cruise during the day. Is anyone interested and free on April 12 for a GMR cruise? It's a quick 15-20 mins up (frontside) with a 10 minute fun run down a super twisty (backside) and then we can head back down Azusa side afterwards which is a high speed twisty area and check out In-N-Out or some other restaurant for lunch.
Positives: This road is close to OC people,LA people AND Inland Empire people.. since LA & IE people can hit this area via 60, 10, or 210 and OC people can get there via 57 all the way up.
Date: April 12
Time: 11am
Where: Glendora Mtn. Road "GMR", this is where the 57 North Fwy ends. (57N/210Fwy interchange area)
Who: ISF family
Website for details:

If there is interest then I can set one up. If not then I'll ask again another time.

I plan to go up front side.. which is Glendora Mtn. Road.. then travel back down backside which leads to Azusa and spits us out the 210 fwy, a few miles from where we started.
Mt. Baldy is the other direction which I believe is 1.5 lane road from GMR right? I've never ran down that road.
GMR/Azusa shouldn't be rough, I ran it for years and never had issues.. unless something has changed.
I wouldn't be worried with cops.. if you've noticed, every road out there will have some form of cops lol

Yea Baldy is the opposite direction to the east, its a really crappy road. GMR to East Fork to 39 (AKA San Gabriel Canyon Rd / Azusa Ave) has better roads. I've been pulled over 3 times on GMR but I've never received a ticket there. Reasons: 1st time was tint - 2nd time he just asked why I was up there - 3rd time was tint. Glendora Police / LACSO are pretty **** in that area and were just looking for a way into the vehicle, so just a heads up.
I will try to make it, I'm changing my days off to go to the Clippers OKC game on 4/9
Is that going to be your set in stone date? one week later on the 19th would be ideal for me

GMR cops just don't want anyone to crash.. every week at night some car crashes or drives over the cliff. So as long as we're not going too crazy then it'll be ok!
I don't have a set in stone date.. the week after is Easter so I thought most people may be busy. I am open for either weekend though.

It's about an hour run from Glendora to Azusa staring on the GMR side..
I've done plenty of solo & paired runs with my IS300, IS350 & IS F on that road..
