I've personally never exceeded the speed limit, but I've heard it's surprising how quickly the ISF gets to/just past 170 before cutting off.

maxed it at ..............TOP SECRET !!

Pretty sure all this lying is not needed guys. The insurance companies dont have people on forums. They know what these cars can do and thats why we all pay more for insurance.

mods might as well shut this thread down. Not going to go anywhere and may make some uncomfortable to be truthful.

Well if it makes anyone uncomfortable then by all means close it down, that wasn't really the intention

It isn't as if the police or the insurance companies will browse the forum, look up the ip address, and then raise your rates if you said you were speeding... but if you were to find yourself in litigation of any kind, criminal or civil, this information could be obtained via subpoena or discovery, and it could be used against you. So for that reason alone, no matter how remote it might be, it's probably not the best idea to talk about how you were doing triple digits on public roads. I think we all know what this car is capable of.

I'd love to take this car out to an airfield or to do a mile run though.

We can't really 'push it' in here on a public roads since the "racing" charge was introduce few years ago. If you go over speed limit by 50km/hr, your car will be impounded for a week on a spot plus huge $ticket, insurance will go thru the roof after you get convicted. Basically you will get charge for "racing" lol., even if you are racing with time by yourself. When that law was introduced few years ago, there was few incidents where company vehicles were compounded for a week, like dump trucks etc lol, imagine explaining that to your boss

Let me tell you about a young kid in a city just north of Toronto. He came on a forum boasting about his M5 who his parents bought him. He told the world over and over how fast he drove and let me tell you absolutely wreckless. I remember reading and thinking "this kid is an idiot with no regard for life", sure enough someone reported the thread to the police and shut him down. A quick google search found this: http://www2.canada.com/story.html?id=3385077
