Question About Audi RS4 Versus IS-F or Opinion
A lot have compared C63 and M3 to our IS-F.
But what do you guys think of the Audi RS4?
Decent Opinion will be greatly appreciated.

I had a B6 S4 prior to the F, and they are not on the same playing field.
A good friend of mine also has the RS4, and although its an awesome day to day driver the power is not the same. The RS4 can't keep up. In a winter climate it kicks the F's ***.
The interior is beautifully done, but a few years behind at this point.
If you're truly considering the Audi you are better of with a B8 S4 and chipping it...

Since the last RS4 that was offered stateside was in what, 2007 or 2008? you're not going to be buying as new a car. And I'll be damned if I'm going to buy an older Audi over a newer Lexus from a reliability standpoint alone.
Performance wise the cars are in the same ballpark. Better launches from the rs4 due to the awd, but a better top end from the ISF. I have seen a couple rs4s in person and it seems smaller than the ISF by a tad, but that could be my imagination. It would've been nice if they had made a B8 RS4.

Pros: RS4 is a fantastic car with all wheel traction.
Awesome engine and obtainable with manual transmission.
Cons: very expensive to maintain and it looks like an older model car
next to the ISF or the new line of Audis.

Since OP is in Socal I would say you don't really need the Quattro but I did a comparison a while back when I had my IS-F.
P.S. I've owned all of these cars except the C63 but have driven it extensively and ranked them from least to best:
C63: Amazing exhaust note, throaty, modern day AMG drag car. Boring styling, cheap materials in the rear (it's like they spent all their budget on front seats), dismal MPG, and reliability issues plus they all look alike with regular C-series makes this the worst choice.
E90 M3: Cleanest body lines, offered in manual and DCT, born on the race track and it's by far the most nimble car on the race course. Meaty steering wheel and real seating for 5 with fold down seats is a huge plus for me. Negatives is bad 15-17 MPG, DCT is not as smooth as the Lexus 8-speed. Some people have experienced issues but it was a flawless reliable car for me.
IS-F: The v8 motor in this car with a JoeZ is the perfect exhaust note. Reliable, smooth auto that can be aggressive when needed. Returns 23 MPG on a 700 mile trip to Portland. Class styling and the interior is well done. Only negatives that made me sell this car was only seats 4 and with no fold down seats and tiny truck it's too small for our family. Auto only.
RS4: Styling is very clean without being over the top, Quattro and roomy seating for 5 is great. It's the largest interior of these 4 cars. Trunk is huge and with a ski rack you could take this to Tahoe easily. Negatives as others have mentioned is the engine buildup, only offered in 6-speed manual.
^If in your budget go look at the new RS5, amazing car, my buddies wife just got one and it's a sexy ride and super fast
