Default New Header design proposition

I emailed John at Doc race in Portland Or, they build quality product there, I was thinking if anyone out that way would be interested to do R&d with him to design possibly equal length headers . It would mean leaving the car there for some time.

But even then we would need some interest from ppl interested in the new manifolds design. I'd like to see how many ppl would be interested in new equal length manifolds, a jig would have to be constructed , but if there is enough interest maybe this could happen.

Look up docrace.com they build turbo manifolds for toyota honda nissan bmw and other.

I'm interested.. Wouldn't be able to participate in R&d b/c of my location in TN. However, I would definitely be interested in the headers.

If truly interested just let us know as we have had this slated for some time but need interested parties to proceed. My design would incorporate an exhaust as well so that we have more room to make up length vs making it out of a bunch of donuts and a lot of fabrication time. We are prepared to do this in realtive short time frame if there are people wanting it at a reasonable cost.

I would 100% be interested in an EL header!
Mike, I've also been stalking you regarding a cover; let me know when you can. Thanks

Have you worked on the design aspect of things. Just like you DocRace would only do it if there were enough ppl wanting in on this.

Yes we have a set of collector-less headers right now, just feeding other projects at the moment buts its been on the radar for 2 years at this point.

I'm very interested in EL headers. I've been holding off purchase hoping someone would build a set outside of the outrageously priced NOVEL's. If this is done within the next year, I'm most definitely in for a set.

Well 2 years and nothing at the moment is a long time coming. I hope you can get something out soon with some dyno numbers. I'm sure if you can build a nice set that makes decent power you will get lots of interest.

I'd be interested in Figs headers as well...

Mike, would there be some sort of modification or adapater available to fit to other aftermarket exhausts?

I dont like to disagree but the price of the Novel headers is about right for a quality designed header like theirs. Im not saying the sikky or PPE are not quality but the Novel stuff is on a completely different level
