Beside all the extra fees to get them coming over to the U.S., you guys still have to pay for the basic tuning on the ECU.
(If you have pm us, you already have the price.)
They charge $1000 for 8 hours in Japan, 1 car will take around 3-4 hours for personal tuning.
If you guys can pay for that, I can get them to come over to the U.S.

If you could drive to SARD's shop in Japan than I guess not
I think the main problem is them needing access to your car, so in addition to whatever they charge for personal tuning, it would be paying for them to come over here, and also paying for lots of dyno time.
I am curious as to what the cost will be for them to simply do the flash if your ECU is sent to them.

That'd still likely require whatever software/hardware SARD uses to be connected to the car in order to capture the data the need to do the tune, right?
I'm sure it will be a bit more, but I hope $500 for a canned tune isn't too far off. I know it's apples to oranges, but you can get a personal tune for pretty much any Nissan (with multiple selectable maps) for around that price. You can even buy the software and cable and tinker around with it yourself if that's your thing.
As far as personal tune vs canned tune, I think canned tune will work just fine, but the price should reflect that it hasn't been tuned specifically to your setup.
