Default PPE A/F wire extension replacement

For those of you who have replaced your wiring extension, what was done to get access to the upper harness? It appears impossible without moving the engine again.

Why are you replacing it? Is there a specific CEL that you keep popping?

Yeah it's definitely not easy getting to it. I was barely able to get my hands in there myself!

Yeah it wasn't easy that's for sure. As long as you're arms aren't too large lol. I disconnected it from below and thought it was going to be impossible for me to reconnect the extension when I decided to come from the top and drop it down. Good luck!

Taking out the battery should give you a little more room.

Did these codes recently start popping up? If so it's likely your extension harness melted against the header. Otherwise if it has been an issue from the get go like me, it's likely due to the pinouts on the extension harness being wired incorrectly and you may have to switch it around.

Mine had melted and was popping the A/F fuse. Strapped it down right after fixing it, so now no more problems.
