Frustrating because I loved looking for tunnels or canyons to run through to let the beast roar. What I have learned through years and years of tuning cars is there is usually a negative and you use the luxury component of our cars far more than the sport ( and I track my ISF ) . The oem set up is not always the fastest but it's usually best overall .

My friend Bret's car has Sikky/Joe Z with no cats and when I rode in it there was much less drone than my Joe Z no harder car. I'm adding PPE headers in the next 2 weeks and am gonna go with magnaflow cats also just to tone down the volume a bit and take out risk of gas fumes since my daughter will be born next month and will be riding in my car from time to time

Honestly, borla/ppe headers sounds about perfect for what I was looking for. Very very tame just cruising and aggressive when you want it to be.
I personally don't have an aversion to loud exhausts, and have a greater tolerance than most, but I feel it needs to complement the car. With this car being a bit more refined, and more what I'd consider "sport luxury". I personally didn't want something overly loud in the cabin to detract from that.

My car arrived with Borla when I had purchased it last week, just ordered the black PPE headers & should be arriving within 2 weeks. The Borla is little bit louder than stock when I had compared it to another stock F model but after hearing sound clips on youtube this seems to be the more subtle way to go.
