I don't use USB power on my phone. I have a Qi wireless charging plate and use the Aux input. The wireless charging isolates the ground so I can charge the phone and use the audio without any noise at all.

bad ground. The LS 460 had the same issue and even had a TSIB for it. Glad its resolved
