Default Stupid PO had a sub in the back...no I have no bass!

I recently acquired my IS-F, and there is no bass out of the stock Mark Levinson system due to the hack job the previous owner left me. It looks like the factory crossover is in the right side of the trunk, does anyone have a wiring diagram for it? Thanks

Congrats on the acquisition...

The ML in the ISF isn't exactly 'bass-heavy', so don't get your hopes too high if you pick up an OEM sub. It's funny because my biz partner has an 07 LS460 with ML and it's sick. Not sure if the ML speakers/subs/amps are completely different btw the LS and ISF but I'd guess the rumble from the exhaust drowns out a good deal of low-end.

X-over is in the trunk?

The sub probably blew out so he added an amp and sub.

I also had a 07 ls and i was amazed at the sound difference between that and the isf. IMO the ISF ML sounded like pure ****.

LIke he said dont expect much difference once you add the stock sub back.....which is probably why the previous owner took it out. TO put some real bass in it.

I redid the entire isf system cause im kinda of audiophile. If I was you....i wouldnt even waste the time or effort putting that crap back in. IMO

The woofer was blown on the ML when I bought my '11, and the Lexus dealer fixed it free.

The overall SQ is fantastic...but to hear any low-end it's gotta be cranked pretty high to outshine the F exhaust (with muffler delete/straight pipes). In the garage, with the engine off, it's pretty sweet. Just doesn't seem to want to bump without nannies kicking in and muting the low-end.

All this coming from an LS400 with 2 Kicker Comp 12's, full-farad cap and Fosgate punch 225...but the engine/exhaust noise when I ruin somebody's day makes me just as happy if not happier

Good to know, I seem to have "lost" my mufflers.
I removed the carpeting in the trunk to see how the ML sub was hooked up. I'm assuming this is probably the root of my problems...
