Warranty/Extended Warranty Up Soon...What to look for?
With the warranty up on my car (08 IS-F with 48k) end of next month, I'm going to have the car taken in for its last at dealer oil change and have them go throughout the whole car.
I'm thinking of having them look at:
1) shocks
2) tie rods / end rods (front and rear)
3) no leak from transmission
4) no leak from radiator
5) boots on steering rack
6) boots on the rear axles
7) rotten/worn or leaking bushings
8) Heated seat functionality
I know my tensioner is making some noise..will have them replace that.
I am worried about the LED bars going on in the dash, and the Nav unit not displaying or responding to inputs...but they are not showing any symptoms and I intentionally turned down the interior lights when I got the car to avoid them burning out...I figure if they go I can pretty much goodwill the repair.
I already had the rear sub replaced and only keep the bass at +1
Anything else you guys think I'm missing?

Had car looked through today....I swear the tensioner or some pulley has its bearings roaring...but you can only hear it from in the car after driving...from the outside its quiet...hmm
They caught that the rear passenger axle appeared to be weeping fluid...gonna be getting a whole new axle under warranty.

Does it happen mostly in 1st and 2nd gears as the revs get above 3k or so? Sounds like a supercharger winding up?

Got my car back....the axle was just seeping some grease.
The splines on each end of the axle were fine, not twisted. The tech (who is my buddy who helped me install the Torsen diff) said there was no sign of abuse at all on the axle he replaced. I told him flat out i'm hard on the car (as he was already aware).
In all I have had the following done under warranty since I bought the car with around 20k on it (at 48k now)
- HVAC assembly replace (someone? broke the fresh air/recirculate door when I had the car)
-Rear subwoofer replaced
-Water Pump and serpentine belt replaced
-Rear Passenger side axle replaced
