My navigation in my 2011 IS250 Fsport doesn't include the option to change the startup screen with a USB stick. Would it be possible with a OBD2? BTW, I do have a USB port in my armrest.

Can I use the carista blue tooth device with the torque app? Has anyone tried it. For some reason mine will not connect.
Our adapter is compatible with any android app that uses the ELM327 protocol (you can find more information on it here: http://www.caristaapp.com/hardware/). What we can suggest is to pair the device and your phone trough the Bluetooth settings of your phone and try again. If that doesn't work, you might want to ask Torque about what could be causing the issue.
Anyone have the torque app? Ive had it for a couple of weeks and in sport and manual mode the throttle % dtays at 80% i dont have any trac control off. Is this what anyone with the app sees?
Im going to pull the intakr pipe and see if i open the throttle what the % goes to.
Also my intake temp is about 2-8* higher than the ambient temp. What are you guys seeing?
I have this but for some reason it causes car to throw CEL ever so often. I disconnect the Bluetooth reader and they go away. Strange.
So somehwat old thread, but yes this seems to be a problem with the Torque app (ABS for me). I have read that this is a side effect of it negotiating the wrong OBD protocol (you can override this to some extent). See thread on prius (of all things) relating to this here: http://priuschat.com/threads/obd-blu...-error.139701/
Does anyone know what the 'proper' OBD protocol setting for the Torque app should be the ISF? I'm sure Rafi knows? I'm guessing its more than likely the same as the prius
What are you attempting to do with the torque app? I'm not sure if rafi would know as he doesn't use this for his car. If you scanning for codes you can use carista. If you datalogging it is best to use techstream.

Just experimenting with the different apps. I would assume he knows this as it's not app specific. I'll figure it out and post here in case some other hardheaded person like me is determined to find the correct answer.
