Question JoeZ installed, have a question (pics)

So I finally installed my JoeZ exhaust yesterday, everything seems good but noticed that behind the passenger side muffler its touching a part of the car (dunno what it is)

Any ideas if this is normal or do I have to adjust something? The second pic shows the driver side muffler and it isn't touching this part. Any help would be appreciated:

Joe I tried sending u a message but your inbox is full

Loosen what bolts? The bolts that connect to the front (mid section) of the exhaust? Or the muffler rubber hangers?

Not the muffler hangers, leave those in. Loosen the bolts of the passenger muffler that connect to the mid pipe, pull down (may have to hold it down) while you tighten

Ah ok, I'll try that and see if it helps.

I'll also see if maybe the mid pipe hangers are adjustable in anyway to help move it slightly down.

Thanks for the advice.

There's not much give in the mid pipe hangers...

Unless you bought some different rubber hangers

No I've used the OEM hangers and I know what u mean, the exhaust is pretty solid right now.

I'll see if there's enough movement for me to re-adjust the angel of where the muffler connects to the mid pipe.

those hangers should bend just fine. take some kind of a cheater pipe on the end of the hanger and bend the tip down. all you need is a half inch. or you can try removing the hanger bracket, put it in a vise and heat the tip up with a propane torch. the hanger will bend I guarantee you that.

^^ There is no reason to bend anything for proper fitment..

As stated.. Losen the 2 bolts on the right axle section connection only..

Pull down exactly where its touching on the section and retighten = problem solved.

Having the car back in the air and doing it with two people would be best..!!

As discussed in PM, when running aftermarket headers things will fit a bit differently, but nothing a few adjustments can't solve..

Enjoy the new setup..!

Also, what kind of Black Finish did you give the mufflers & piping..!!??

Thanks for the feedback Joe, I will be doing this in a few days.

The muffler pipes are just resting on the metal part so it's not damaging anything and absolutely no noise.

I used some high temp spray paint on the mufflers and muffler pipes to try and make the exhaust look more stealthy lol, but its obvious I've installed something

Once again awesome product
