Hazy front emblem?

use meguiars plastX and headlight protectant. if you clean them and you don't seal them with the headlight protectant or some type of sealant the haze will come back in a week. Same goes for hazy headlights.

You know you're doing it right when there is yellow deposits on the micro fiber rag or application pad. You'll hear that your rubbing turns into squeaking letting you know the containation has been removed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that emblem isn't on an IS F, right? It looks like it is because I recognize the grille surround and mesh. If so, the emblem isn't OEM. Chances are with the time probably air moisture/ condensation got trapped in the inside. OEM IS F emblem doesn't have a plastic cover whatsoever. That emblem reminds me of the CT Hybrid emblems with the blue surround. Before you take anything apart. Try compound, polish, and seal it with wax. I restored my 2007 IS 250 headlights this way before trying plast X.

I stand corrected I think Ninjasocks hit the nail on the head. Apparently, there was a different type of emblem that came with IS F. All emblems I've seen in person have the vent surround behind the emblem. No plastic surround.

Cool, now I know how to tell if a car has adaptive cruise. lol
PCS stands for PRE COLLISION SYSTEM, cars equipped with this feature will have an extra button on the right side of the steering wheel for adaptive cruise.
The grill is special to these cars because the sensor is integrated into the grill. It apparently costs close to $1k to replace.

How did you apply the plastX? You can't apply it like wax you really have to use some elbow grease to get the haze out and AGAIN apply some type of sealant.

Yes, my IS-F has PCS, though I've never actually used the radar cruise control

Simply apply toothpaste to your emblem and rub it in, as you would using a cutting compound.
use water then a dry cloth to clean off the excess residue and voila!! Just like new.
while your at it, give your headlights the same treatment. You’ll be amazed.
