What does the Sport Mode do?

^ I was under the impression Sport mode "relaxed" the VSC and allowed for more yaw angle before intervention.... However, after winter driving my car, I can now say that there is no difference, and if there is, it's hard to tell.
I searched this forum and collected info on sport and snow mode, and made a post about it. The short version is;
(Sport mode)
- sharper throttle response, due to drive-by-wire throttle angle re-map
- heavier steering wheel feel due to less power assist
- more aggressive transmission shift points

In theory....
I agree . On the track I use the VSC as a safety net because my lines are getting pretty damn good and Im pushing hard on older tires. It saved my *** this last weekend when I exited a corner too hard . If it wasnt on I would have spun like so many people do on track days .

So do you recommend VSC on, Sport mode off for track days? I'm curious...will be at my first one in the F on the 21st.
Also- how are the aerodynamics at high speed? I'll be running the Roval at CA Speedway, you can easily hit 140mph+ on the straight.

Depends on how aggressive you are. If you are overly aggressive, I'd say turn off VSC and use sport mode so you learn the limits of the car, not the limits of what VSC can avoid.

SCCAForums ran his F at Fontana on the banking and had no issues with aero. You might want to take a look at his thread - he was also on Hoosier R6's.
VERY interesting thread. What's the 'pedal dance'?

Sounds like you are doing a high speed track. All of the ones I have been on seem much more technical compared to the tracks other have been on. You guys reach speeds of 130-140 where I max at 105-110 . You will kill brakes and I will kill tires
