Default 09 ISF Vancouver Caller Name not displayed

Hi, I live in Vancouver, BC and have 2009 IS-F, Red on Black. Love the car but the Call Display on the Nav (Gen 5 I think) doesn't display the caller name, number only. There are lots of posts on this and many suggestions but none have worked. I can pair my IPhone 5 with ios 8.1.3 no problem. Has anyone asked the Lexus dealers if there is a firmware update or something they can do? Any new or different suggestions? Thanks

hi there! also from vancouver bc! what I did was edit every number in the phone. add a +1(number) . clear all the contacts from your car. resync all the contacts. Hope that helps.

Tried the +1 number, didnt work. Like other posts mine wont sync contacts, says it is syncing but nothing happens. What yr is your ISF and nav gen?

Mine is a 2012.

Hm... you don't have issues connecting the phone to blue tooth right? You are able to talk on the phone vIA the lexus system?

Yea pairs fine, talk is is fine, everything works as it should, just dont see the caller name on the display, number only. I am trying something different today and will post the results later. Thanks.

Hope it works for you! Had an 2013. I don't recall seeing caller name on display either gl!

Based on another post I downloaded an app to my Iphone to try and transfer my contacts that way but I couldn't get it paired with the Nav. Noticed a new issue today, after following the Lexus instructions, I left the Bluetooth menu on my phone open, and when I pressed Transfer contacts, the Bluetooth connection stops and says Disconnected. when I Cancel the Transfer, it connected again, obviously wont transfer if no connection...any ideas out there?

FYI - I emailed Lexus Canada customer service, they gave me the Too Bad So Sad, we will take this into consideration = We don't care about older cars/owners.....Pretty disappointing.....
