Default Headlight / Foglight protection film

I'm curious what everyone here is using. I'd like to put a clear film over my new headlights and foglights. I'm looking for precut overlays and the best I can is Lamin X and Weathertech for around $60 which doesn't include fog light overlays.

I know AeroTect used to sell precut overlays but it doesn't look like they offer it anymore. I'm hoping for a more cost-effective option.

I don't think I could do the cutting myself and make it actually look clean and I wasn't really satisfied with the work of the one guy in my town who does this.

Well that's another option, but I just think $60+ is a bit steep for this. I did find you can get the rvinyl stuff from their ebay store for $25 so I may end up going with that unless somebody has had a negative experience with their product.

Isn't theirs 60+ for headlight and fogs together?

Seems pretty damn reasonable to me considering xpels patterns are usually excellent, and their film is top notch.

Don't do Lamin-x pre cut films.
They're about an inch too small. This was my experience. I ended up going to a tint shop and having all lenses covered (back and front). They used the Lamin-x sheets and I love the results. Just steer away from pre cut films.
Good luck

Didn't feel like creating a new thread, but I wanted to recommend the X-pel kit for our headlights. Fit is good and after I polished my lights it never fogged up again in the 2-3 years I've had it on. So the UV must be working.

One minor note is that the fog cuts do not fit the morimoto fogs but it itself is not an oem fit.
