Already discounted, just have the last 8 of your vin & he will give you the part #'s to punch in the search tab on their parts website. Price is displayed when you punch in part #.

Pole Position
Petition signed current sigs vs goal isn't looking too good
So two things...1) if the sites going away shouldn't they be offering a discounted price and not increasing them (realizing of course that it's not a going out of business situation). 2) does this mean the online microfiche will be done away with as well? Hoping not.

Sewell doesn't care about us or our petitions!!!!!!
lol. In all honesty, despite them not making much money on the products - which is why they probably didn't feel it was worth keeping it open, you can be SURE that Lexus was banking off their part sales. I spoke to a guy that used to work for a major auto manufacturer and he said a full bumper cover costs PENNIES to produce - literally like 4-5 cents.

Yes, I agree with this statement, but that being said at least Lexus was getting extra income as opposed to the aftermarket companies. I'm pretty sure now that our resource has dried up, many people will go to aftermarket alternatives for some things (such as brakes, fluids, wipers, etc).

MyLParts seems to be a promising site/vendor. I was able to cross shop with some of the prices Sewell offered on some parts I was looking into, and they were able to beat those prices with an additional 5% discount for CL members as well as free shipping over $150.

Very true. I will miss the ease of navigation around Sewell's site. I still cross-reference by part number to see if any vendor can price match. Usually I take a printout to my dealer and they have been able to match or beat those prices- yes, Sewell's prices. But at least there's an alternative available for OEM parts.
