I did the same on my car, i feel improvement on acceleration and hp probably, not dyno. I know cause cause after racing my friends isf, i was faster than him on highway 😉😃, but on mine i custom double burnt tips at each end, and removed the stock tips... sounds amazing. And really quiet in idle...
This is a picture when i was installing my spoiler, do car is dirty, lol....

I did it.
I finally got a shop to do a Xpipe (replacing 2nd C) to the stock headers. It sounds amazing (no drone, louder stock tone). But they fought me to do 2.25 instead of 2.5. It was so cheap, I couldn't really argue. I will get this dynoed soon.

NIce! I was thinking about doing this the other day.
I'm running a full Borla Cat-Back and was thinking about getting my stock mufflers and having a shop do a section of pipe to the stockies that will slip into the Borla piping.
That way I can switch between my Borla mufflers and my stockies anytime.
My Borla system sounds almost too quiet for me but my wife complains on our long road trips that it's annoying to her.

I am planning to do the same but i was afraid from the dron and how loud it would be?? From what u have said i assume it is going to be absolutely acceptable and not too noise while cruising or traveling
Thank you for sharing your axperiance with us and if u could post the video sound of your vehicle that would be much appreciated
