Question Is there anyway i can clean the brake calipers without removing the wheels?

I just noticed that my black brake calipers look dull. I used my finger to check it and behold, the shine is back. Is there anyway i can clean the brake calipers without removing the wheels? Any help will definitely be noted.

Sonax Wheel Cleaner. Spray it on the caliper/wheels and hose it down.

Use a small detail brush with some degreaser or brake dust remover and agitate with small brush and rinse should do the trick.

Best wheel cleaner ever used. Just spray on dry let it foam up and then rinse off it gets all the brake dust!

^ all the inputs are great advice, the stock wheels do make it hard to physically clean with your hands so get something small that you can put in between the spokes and rub away haha.

I just wipe them throught the spokes in the wheels . If you cant reach a section just pull the car forward a few inches . Works for me

All good advice, but it might be worth it to just take them off so you can get the inner barrels of the wheels while you're at it. That'll make cleaning the calipers simple and you'll get that spot that is never cleaned.

I usually pull all four wheels about twice a year to clean the entire wheel well. It's easier to spot damage and deterioration with the wheels removed.

Carpro Iron-X (attacks metallic build up, and even safe enough to spray on your paint.)
Speed Master Wheel Brush

I dont have time to jack the car up and remove the wheels to clean something that is so superficial. Seems like a PIA for nothing. Want to try the wheel cleaners people talk about. Seems to good to be true and effective. Spray it on and just hose ?? Never had luck with those types of products

Thanks you guys. I'll try the spray first. If that does not do it, the wheels will be coming off and i can get a better approach.

That speed master brush is bad ***! I love mine too. Sonax wheel cleaner+speed master brush = shiny calipers!

Pop the tires off! Get the back side of the rim real good and shine up the calipers.. I do it every time, I'm a long time detailer..... Things like that bother me.

Also, I know alot of people mentioned wheel cleaners and other products.... I'd be VERY careful. Lexus paints are EXTREMELY brittle... A buddy of mine snatched the clear coat clean off his F Sport rims with a wheel and tire cleaner. $100/Wheel to re-clear! Wash everything with warm soapy water... Chemicals are.... Dangerous if used incorrectly.
