Yes it drones but only at around the 2000 RPM mark. But if you take notice, even with your stock exhaust it has a very very slight drone at the 2000K RPM as well (Yes I am sensitive to noise).

Cruising along on the highway on a relatively flat road surface it is almost silent. Just when under load going up on inclines I find it drones the worst. Love and hate it because of that but it sure does rumble. Cars move out of the way, pedestrians quickly cross the road and domestic muscle's are scratching their heads as to why a Lexus rumbles like a V8?

Drones at 2000 RPM or under when I'm on the freeway. I usually stay at 6th gear on the freeway for short drives. It wastes more gas but gets rid of the drone. I also like the sound when I'm in a lower gear, and having the engine right at the power band in case I need to do quick acceleration helps. It helps that gas is much cheaper now.

When you're cruising the Joe-z is very humble and conservative, when you open her up, she a bad girl lol. Drone is at the bare minimal at 2k rpm.

This is all good info and it sounds like there are different experiences with it. I guess it comes down to personal choice and how sensitive you are to noise. I will find out soon enough as I just bought a JoeZ exhaust for ISF from ModinJapan with their tax sale.

Have you thought about doing headers and leaving the stock exhaust? I just installed PPE headers and am currently on the stock exhaust for now. It definitely gives it a slightly more aggressive sound, but not really loud by any means. Plus, more power

Well, picked it up from the shop and it sounds awesome. Videos do not do it justice. Cost about 1.5 hours of labor. I kept the OEM system as well. I agree with the slight drone around 2k. It is a perfect compromise of adding some deep growl but not in your face loud. Turned a few heads already. Ironically my wife and son said they couldn't tell a difference, but my other son who rides in the car more often said it was louder and "cooler" LOL

It'll settle out and get smoother and deeper, aggressive down shifts sound fantastic!

I'd suggest shooting ModInJapan a pm. Even without the group buy, he gave me an excellent price for shipping.

OEM is 2 pieces and will not fit.
Had to put it in the minivan with the seats down.

Caymandive made a DIY on this if you wanted to do it.
