Default Electrical issue - Flickering Cluster, Nav, Compass

I had both recalls done 2 weeks ago, just in case this is relevant.

While driving one night, the weirdest thing happened:

- Compass reset
- Nav Screen went black and re-booted.(audio stayed on)
- Nav Screen went black and re-booted. (Audio cut-out)
- Just the blue needle (Speedometer only), dropped to 20MPH and the light went out.

This all happened while cruising on the freeway at 50 - 60MPH. It happened 4 times, within a 30 minute drive. It's been a few days, and I haven't been able to replicate the problem. Doesn't seem like a alternator. I am trying to find time to take it into the dealership, and I hope CPO warranty covers this.

Resolution:

Battery Leads were not tightened all the way.

this happened to me before when I had a dead/faulty battery. I thought it was the voltage regulator in the alternator, but it was just the battery that got shorted from my headlight mount that was not grounded properly.

I have an appointment next week to sort it out. Hopefully they'll find a cause for it.

Rich was right. The tech found that whoever did the recall, did not tighten the battery leads, so bumps caused power loss. I only checked if it was attached,

They also found, that the guys at Magnessun over-filled my coolant tank causing a coolant leak in the expansion tank. This would make it the 4th issue found as a result of this recall work.
