Default Yellow Fog Lights?

I just bought some yellow fog light covers for my IS-F from Headlight Armor (http://www.headlightarmor.com/08-13-...ction-kit.aspx). I've always liked yellow fogs, and I think it helps more in rain and fog.

Anyway, my wife and some friends really don't like it on the F and say it dates the car too much. I think it's looks awesome and goes well with the car. What do you guys (and gals) think? Should I keep the yellow or go with the clear film just for protection?

As far as the product though, great stuff. Fit was perfect, nice and easy install, plus the film is very thick which I think will be good for protection.

Pics!

Cool, thanks! I'm pretty happy with how it looks.

Yeah, the install was really easy. The kit came with very clear instructions, but basically you just need to clean the lens, I wiped it down with alcohol and then carefully adhered the film. It's kind like putting a screen protector on your cell phone. Not big deal.

They look great at night and you don't lose any light. They are perfectly clear, just with a yellow tint.

Aren't yellow/3500k fogs more effective in fog, mist, etc?

yes, longer wavelength light penetrates without scattering as much as shorter wavelength light.

Thanks guys, after having them on for a little while now, I can't imagine not having them yellow! It looks like it should have come that way! I don't have any night pics, but I'll get some in the next few days and post em up.
