LED DRL With High Beam Feature
Hey everyone, not sure if anyone has found a LED bulb that can replace there DRL's and still have the high beam function. I stumbled across these made by OLM and ordered a set I bought 5000k Philips version. I will give my thoughts and review when i receive them hopefully all goes well.

Says it should be compatible with any car that uses the 9005 bulb. Fingers crossed!
One more thing make sure you change to you proper currency before check out.

So i received my order BUT! sadly they sent the wrong bulb size. Customer service said they would send me the correct set and a return label. After seeing the bulbs in person id say i would have to modify the dust shield/ backing cover to accommodate the heat dissipating system, probably drill a hole little bigger then a quarter or so. I'm going to go order a extra set of covers just in case. Hopefully correct set arrive soon and i can have all white lights with high beams!

One of the Subaru guys I know posted pictures of these in use and they looked pretty effing bright. I was debating snagging a set myself, I believe the 3000k (yellow color) only has a yellow cap that can be removed to turn it white, but don't quote me
Either way, please post up plenty of pictures of them being used on your car / any modifications need to the dust cap to make them fit (I'm assuming they have rubber grommets to seal your cuts?)
Thanks!

These are what the bulbs look like. Well its the hard plastic cover behind the headlamps probably need to drill a while big enough for the fin things to stick out. Hopefully they arrive soon getting anxious. Haven't tested brightness out as i didn't get the correct size bulb.

I received the correct bulbs today went straight into installing them, got done turned them on to my disappointment they flicker. I emailed the company and see if they had any solutions if not i will just buy some resistors and see if that takes care of the flicker. Beside that they look great and high beams work well. I had to cut notches out from behind my cover to allow the heat fins to stick out and notched the bottom for the wires to hang out since i couldn't stuff them inside. Strange part is apparently they are plug and play on 2015 WRX's curious why they flicker for our cars.

I never owned a WRX just the website i found them on is a subie site.
Anyways conclusion is THEY DON'T WORK FOR OUR CARS .I will probably sell these to a Wrx guy or return them or try to see if they work on my other cars, but for the IS it just flickers in DRL mode and resistors will have them running at full power which would mean id have my brights on. I'm pretty disappointed was really hoping they worked tired of ugly halogen lights. Going to dealership to have my DRLs disabled.
