Right now my major goal is suspension, so I need a wrench that can handle those various ranges, and one that is a worthwhile purchase. If I find my shocks are leaking or are part of the noise issue, I’ll be buying Penskes this week. I imagine my wallet will not weigh much afterwards.
Split beam is more accurate than click, but difficult to read accurately in many situations. Snap-On also makes the Torque-o-meter wrenches which use the same methodology as split beam with a dial gauge instead of the needle and flat scale typical of split beam. They are also known for high accuracy and are easier to read than the typical split beam. Much cheaper than the TechAngle wrenches too.

The precision split beam clicks as well. I may have used the wrong name for it. Link here. I like it a lot. They are allegedly more accurate with less need for maintenance.
Amazon Amazon

What do you recommend for a quality low profile, long reach floor jack? I have a harbor freight 3 ton, and it is not super impressive.

Older thread but I enjoyed reading all the comments. Now that it's been several years how are people's USRS holding up? Noises/squeaks, complaints...etc.

I see on RR's website they have now the 88 durometer material back as the "street" version but listed it better suited for AWD vehicles and still recommends the red/pink bushing is their better handling system... I remember when these were installed on my friend's IS the 95 durometer was much nosier to me than the stock bushings from inside of the vehicle. I wanted to go with Figs because of the lower number durometer but the rr racing version almost seems like it's designed different rather than just simply a bushing replacement. Which at first I was worried about the nvh but I feel like there has to be a happy medium from nvh and a better lca bushing design so that's why I am looking at the 88 version of the rr racing rather than their 95 rating.

I installed the regular 95 durometer USRS a couple weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. After reading this thread I was worried it would cause too much NVH as I'm pretty sensitive to it, but I can barely tell a difference. When going over expansion joints or large cracks I can feel more of the impact but the increase is pretty marginal. The steering difference is dramatic though. I no longer completely lose steering feel when going through a corner at speed, it feels fantastic. I highly recommend the USRS.

Install was super easy, took about an hour with taking my time and cleaning all the bolts. No squeaks, rattles, or any other new noises.
