I just used this last night and it worked great on my door plastic panels!

https://www.amazon.com/CarGuys-Plast.../dp/B071FRWWRF

I received it on Christmas and decided to try it out. I had to really clean the plastics first and wipe them dry. Then apply the plastic restorer and buff out in 10 minutes. Feels dry and not sticky to the touch and the gray faded color is gone. Now I have to see how long this stuff lasts before I have to re-apply.
Has anyone else used this product? About to pull the trigger on some other stuff from China but 157$ for something that doesn't have any reviews seems a little dicey.

Nope! I applied this back in January and it still looks good. It looks like I may have to re-apply in a few weeks but 3-1/2 months in and it's still good. Not sticky.

I sure hope this never happens to my 2011 since it supposed to be a 08-09 issue, I had this issue in my 08 is350 and it was disgusting and I hated it, never even cleaned the dash because what was the point, It took me 3 years to get them replaced and I was still pending on my door panels its ridiculous.

So far the stickymeltingsolition has worked fairly well. I had a few areas I had to reapply where it would get slightly tacky. These were hard to reach areas that I likely did not adequately coat the first time.

Weird. I still haven't experienced this with my '08, but my car lives in the garage away from sun most of the time.

It's crazy because flowrider (Lou) also lives in southern Az and indicated he has not had any issues. My 08 gets driven maybe 3k miles a year and lives most of its life in the garage. Last summer is when I started having issues.

After 2 years of waiting, Dashboard cover and all 4 interior door panels have been replaced as of yesterday. I am a happy camper. Way to go Lexus of Westminster! Thumbs up to Charlie Sarno the service manager!

Yes, I guess patience does really pay, in my case anyway. You had a NSX before? I used to have 2, a 94 and I switched to a 97.

Same here. Just my drivers side door is evidencing (visually), passenger side is getting tacky to the touch.
