Man I miss Qatar I was there for 6 months stints back in 2003-2005 when the war first started and had a blast. I actually saw the Bently GT there before it made its way to the states. I saw a few RUF 911's and an a few F40/F50's.. all Parked at the Mall downtown. **** was unreal. I would die to go back but now I'm in CSAR and we just go to fawking Africa.

When i was at the CAOC there we had several Land Cruisers and took those bad boys out into the deserts.. Loved them

I tend to head out for a good countryside hoon on a semi regular basis in spring and summer regardless of what car I own at the time. Planning on doing the same this year once I've got myself an ISF. This is last year in my Galant VR4 -

And this is from a few years back when I owned my first (and only V8 so far) the Jaguar XJR -

Funnily enough the ISF I am viewing this weekend is not far from Brize Norton so I'll let you know what the roads are like around there
Man thanks for sharing those pictures. Love the weather lol, I don't care if it is bad 300 days out of the year I would love to return. I spent a few days there TDY on my way back from a deployments back in the late 90's and the early 2000's and fell in love with it. What i loved is paying GT on Playstation and then getting there and seeing the EVO's 22B's, Galant VR4's ( great looking one btw) R32's and all the fan boy cars you play in the game that aren't present in the states, it was awesome. I saw the first Lighting Blue Saab Viggen there and I fell in love with it hence m tracking one down here in the states and picking it up.

I have to keep my eyes open for jobs out there at Brize, the US Air Force and Boeing are building tons of infrastructure there since they created a Huge C-17 transport wing for the RAF and I'm trying to find a contracting job there after i retire form the AF in 18 months.

If you saw me when I got the assignment to go there and then saw my face when I was told it was removed. My wife left me alone for a week lol.

The weather is bad for more than 300 days in a year! It's currently -1C/30F outside and we've had heavy rain for the past month now. That being said the Yorkshire scenery makes up for it a little.

Not sure if you have any deployments available for RAF Menwith Hill. It's around a 30 min drive from where I live and the roads round there are awesome. I usually head out for a hoon round there. Looking forward to seeing how an ISF handles out there compared to the VR4.

I've only seen another F (White) twice in my area.
