Smile 34 Year Old Garage

We just bought this 1981 Home 1.5 years ago.. This fellow had this garage built like the house.

Fully insulated and lots of windows and doors. AC/Heat Window unit keeps it 72 degrees year round.
He had 10 older Mercedes's in here at one time. Also has 3 Car Carport at front of home, built with the original home.

Took 30 Gal. of Sherwin Williams best Emerald Satin paint on the inside, and about 14 Gal. of Sherwin Williams concrete Epoxy on the floor..

100% Stone Exterior with tile roof. Owner who built it was originally from Hungary by way of Johannesburg, S. Africa. He was an architect and Mercedes lover...
He had to go to assisted living and he sure hated to leave.. I dealt with his son.
I could not pass it up ... Got Buyer's Ego in a Hurry!! Ha!!!

Here are some before and after photos. Paint on walls and ceiling and epoxy of floor transformed it in a hurry and got rid of all the old smells...

Also has workshop, pool storage , and half bath and Utility sink with hot water..

This home is close in town, North Central San Antonio.... He built the home like a Spanish Hacienda.

Took me awhile, but I finally got my Dream Garage with an attached house!! Hee Hee

( Lucky for us we love the house also. Although 5 Bedrooms and 5 full baths , 2 living and 2 Dining, 3600 Sq. Ft. is about right for the 2 of us).. Ha!! Came out a win win..

Cheers, Zale

What an awesome house @zpletcher! I dream of even a 2 car garage here in the SF Bay Area... to hear of a 10 car garage is completely unfathomable out here!

This was my F's home, but I've redesigned it a bit (still a work in progress...flooring and some shelving next). Now it's home to the replacement for the F.

^^^ Interesting, I just test drove a 997 C4S the other day as a possible ISF replacement. (didn't go anywhere as I didn't fall in love with the driving experience). Pretty car though!
