Hi Lobux, if the brake override has been done on a car, is it possible to revert it back? I'm gonna find out if it was done to mine. I'm definitely feeling the lag the OP is talking about. My car is at 52k 2011, I'm uncertain if to even consider the tranny fluid.

Good information about the brake override can be found here.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe 2011 and up came with the revised brake override software. And, from what I understand, it cannot be reversed once performed.

I appreciate the link, I do recall reading that thread😉 You're correct, 2011 did come revised😩. Oh well, I'll keep at an eye on it. It does get irritating, but I still Love it!

For anyone having this issue, the first thing to do is ensure the transmission has the right amount of fluid in it. I have noticed after just a couple of months, the responsiveness I had immediately after fixing my fluid level problem has diminished. I have a suspicion clutch wear drops the fluid level ever so slightly, and I almost think we'd be better off by setting the level according to the manual, then adding a couple of ounces so it is very slightly overfilled. I will be testing this theory (hopefully) soon.
