Those look great and I like the idea of the rotating seat so the wheels don't get scratched. The McGards I linked earlier have that feature too. They don't look nearly as nice as the IR40 but are made of steel so don't have to worry about the dealer or tire shop using an impact. I'd be worried about the IR40 stripping especially at that price.

With the new Leggdura, I'd remove the aluminum dressing before taking the car to the dealer or tire shop and leave instructions on how to care for the lugs but who know what happens behind the scenes. Decisions, decisions...

I'm leaning towards these exact ones. I think the 53mm might stick out too far.

How long have you had them and roughly how many times have you removed them/changed tires?

Any issues with the seats scratching the wheels or scratches on the "shell"?

Thanks

Are you sure those McGards are 2-piece rotating? I know it looks like they're 2-piece, but I don't see anything on the website that says they rotate. It would be great if they do, though.

I'm pretty sure the lugs have the rotating seat based off a Google search with YouTube reviews and other car forum posts. However the locking lugs do not have a rotating seat. You could purchase the regular spline drive lugs only and forget about the locks. The Spline drive are almost like a lock themselves anyway and most locks are easily defeated anyway.

I decided to purchase the Leggdura 35 2 piece even though they don't have the rotating seat. I don't remove the wheels too often and the wheels have a very recessed mount so any scratches would not be visible.

I cancelled my order too as they were back ordered on the 35mm too. Ended up finding a set in stock on eBay. Should be arriving today!

I've had them for a couple months and I don't change it too much as it's not my daily driver. I usually remove the shell and put it on when I'm at a car show.
