I have to agree with you. Besides that, this is awesome.

I wouldn't expect everyone to like this particular change, but I was VERY impressed seeing this car in Vegas. The body work is top notch and having Mani point out the details of the custom work, which enhanced the Lexusness of the car, made it that much better.

If you like the spindle grill, as I do (wifey's 2016 IS 350 F Sport is due in early November), it's hard not to like this car. To me, the IS-F's more aggressive front end body work lends itself very well to the spindle grill front end. Hopefully, most of you will get the opportunity to see this car in person as time passes. It's a killer machine, IMO.

Ken.

Took the car out for a shakedown run this weekend at Buttonwillow [#13 CW]. Even with all the nannies turned off, the electronics are still interfering with the throttle. Won't give me any RPMs from turn entry to exit so I've had to coast almost all the turns. The throttle start to respond once I unwind the steering. May need to do the pedal dance to get the nannies to completely be disabled. There is easily 2 more seconds on this car if the throttle responded sooner than it has.Any how, the car manged a 2:06 lap time. Happy with how she performed.

What are some of your lap times at this track in this configuration?

There is something wrong with your setup. Mine has never done this at the track. Ever. VDIM is more inclined to use the brakes than the throttle IME. That's how I cooked the brakes on my first track day. I've never gone out with VDIM engaged since, and I've never had any problems getting the car to rotate on throttle in a turn since.

Yep... that is exactly what she was doing. No matter what I did, can't get throttle control while on the turn.

Mani,

What year Transmission do you have?? When was it last checked ??

Low trans fluid may cause this kind of sympton for you...

Lobuxracer can give some pointers & insight on how to do a proper trans fluid level check & set.

Also, is your Diff an IS350 swapped with a 2 way LSD ?? Or was it an IS F Torsen unit with the swap done??
