Hi Guys,
Here is some short video of my F on Autodrom Most - short track (around 2,5km) in Czech Republic.
20160406 Lexus IS-F Autodrom Most, CZ - YouTube
My 2012 IS-F is completely stock. Front tires were already a bit tired before the track day (the purpose was to finish them and put new PSS![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My impressions from IS-F (previously I owned e90 330i):
PLUS:
- power
- OEM brakes are fantastic
- overall stability
MINUS:
- nose-heavy + OEM tires = a lot of understeer
- heavy
- steering is so-so
- missing manual transmission
I'm putting a lot of km on my car, so I don't like mods. But with OEM wheels/tires IS-F feels too heavy and not playful enough on this short track. My e90 330i was almost 200kg lighter and on this track it shows.
I'm kind of disappointed with OEM IS-F track performance![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

What a great video!! Nice track. The added weight of the F mixed with those pathetic skinny little 225s in front is not good for under steer. The rear F sport sway bar will fix that for less than $140. The next thing I would recommend is lowering the tire pressures if they are too high.
Nice driving and very cool of you to share this video with the rest of us. Maybe try the 245/275 combo for your next set

Thanks guys! But there is still a lot to improve in my technique - when I'm watching this video I can see that I was turning in too early in some corners.
Indeed, this track is perfectly smooth and it was almost empty. Perfect playground![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I read about 245/275 combo, but was not convinced about 245 going to front OEM 2008 wheel. I didn't find anybody who tracked their F with this setup.
I was thinking about 235/265 but somebody answered that it was handling very bad with this one, as geometry changes (in fact 245/275 also impacts geometry). Now I will put new PSS in front and let's see if this helps a bit.
Another short movie:
- first learning the line with KIA Cup Driver Albert Legutko
- then some laps on empty track

Here are the videos from my 4/22 track day at Summit Point, WV.
First session was in the rain, which was a good learning experience.. The Michelin PSS are great in the wet.
Second session was on a damp track..Faster & more fun.
Third & fourth sessions were completely dry. I haven't started timing laps yet (need to try out some apps), but I'm definitely faster than the last time on this circuit.. I need to work on my turn 10 confidence & exit speed to carry more momentum down the front straight, but my top speed is up compared to last time.. I was topping out ~135-136 mph, then heavy braking for turn 1. Thrilling
I tried something different with the camera for the fourth session..Look for the other IS-F ~4:30![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

haha Thanks Mike. Your videos are awesome too. Thats cool you got to run other F. That new camera angle was cool too. I have to thank Lance for recommending the new view so viewers could see the hands plus with it close to me viewers can hear my driving commentary

Thanks man! I think I have to lower the car about another inch or so as I completely ruined the two front tires. I'm hoping if I lower it further, it will get me some negative camber. I peeled the outside of the tires to the cords. They lasted me 4 track events (about 150 laps). Tires were mounted a week and a half ago lol.

Here's a short clip from my recent track day at Pocono. I got caught up in traffic behind an Audi R8. He could not lose the IS-F in the road course section, thanks in part to my recently installed Penske coilovers from RR Racing ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Sorry for the poor picture quality. I forgot to open my sunroof shade to help minimize the whiteout effect.
