What brake pads are you guys running? Ideally I'd like pads that can be used in the street as well. I was thinking of getting the Project Mu HC+800, but I'm wondering what other street/track pads are available out there. I'm not sure if the Project Mu HC+800 would be too aggressive for street use.

Its a quick change the night before IMO to get the right pads for track day on. And pad will be drivable its just a matter of pedal modulation and forgiveness, noise and dust.
If you get our 2-P rotors you can run a lower operating temp pad and still run it on the street.
It will also depend on the tires you choose to run, how you use your brakes and how many sustained laps you want to do. I would strongly suggest upgrading fluid as well. The factory fluid has water in it by now and a good 600+ degree fluid will keep you out there longer as well.

I fried a set of the rear AD08Rs in less than 4700 miles LOL. Fresh rears and the front are at about 70%. I am ready for battle. I have tried 3 different tires on my F and all of them last 5-7k miles with my driving style ( and 2-4 track days per set) . Haha I do rear tires at every oil change basically .....or sooner depending on the brand . PSS have lasted the longest, but the AD08R is SOOOO much better in terms of consistency as it wears and steering feel.

I need new rear tires before the May track day.. My right rear has a plug in it due to a big-*** screw I picked up somewhere
It's fine for day to day, but I definitely wouldn't take a chance at the track.
My dilemma is what size to get. I'm sticking with PSS since I currently have the 255/35 up front with plenty of tread. Rears are 265/35, but I want something wider and as close to 26" OD as possible. I see that 295/30 is exactly 26", but I'm not sure I want to deal with fender rolling & other mods to ensure they fit.

To be honest neither did I but it was much easier than I thought. I googled local shops , set appt, had it done, and then just filed an extra mm off the fender lip in a 2-2.5" area at about 10-11 o'clock on the fender .
To each his own. I understand not wanting to deal with it, but the 295s really do make a difference on hard corner exit or launching while turning. Are you on stock wheels ?

If you are on stock wheels I wouldnt go wider than the 275. Blazzn335 and I hit the track at Inde and he had the 265/35 in the rear and it look absolutely fine and he did very well. I went with the 255/295 to have the correct diameter so the car looks stock from the side ( not the back lol) and to give me as much grip as was possible. The guys who are on 305s are fitment gurus and I none of them were on stock shocks. At least you went wider. I stuck with oem sizes with my oem wheels. Never upsized after I tried the 245/285 on oem wheels. It was a disaster in terms of feel.

I am in awe that the few who run the over sized tired don't complain about the slop. You are right that I am in the minority but I am also in the extreme minority in terms of the amount of track time I do.

My contribution to the archive from this weekend.
Lots of fun. Got a little glass damage but had Safelite work their magic on the way home. Glass was repaired before I even got home, less than an hour after leaving the track , and only $99
