Toms lip is the best IMO.

It is raw plastic so, if you want a more consistent finish you can paint it, otherwise it is about the same color as a unpainted bumper. I would take pictures but my F is at the dealer with a blown transmission
What caused the transmission failure? Thats very uncommon.

If you don't plan on ever driving your car up a steep entryway then sure it is. I'll spend $1400 elsewhere.

I scrape mine every so often and it holds up great! (so far)
It would kill me to do that to a TOMs lip..

I was never a fan of Toms until I saw the kit in person. It is absolutely one of the best looking kits for the F...that being said I don't think I could ever shell out the money considering I drive over speed bumps and dragons teeth at work. :\ I scrape now with no lips and lowered in the front on eibachs

Toms is fine if you're careful & used to driving low cars (that's what I have).

I do like autocouture though, reminds me of a gfx lip for the regular 2IS. Clean.

Agreed! Love my Bayson lip for $150!! When I scrape it if I go over a speedbump or going up a steep driveway etc.....I don't flinch because I figure I can always buy another one if this one goes to sh!@$

EXACTLY!
I've had my fair share of carbon fiber lips. I just hated when they got scrapped, chipped, and/or ripped. I have already scrapped this ISF lip plenty of times, held up well and doesn't look beat. This lip is more forgiving than CF. And could care less about creeping up steep driveways or speedbumps. Once this lip looks toast, just unscrew and throw on another.

This is not a daily for me and more a weekend. I know the areas and the limit of what the car can handle. I know$1200 is steep but we are also driving a 70k car. I just cant see putting a $150 ebay lip.

Im just not an ebay guy. But to each their own. I dont think the lip looks bad.

Im going to start laying carbon soon. Once I do you can send them to me and I will wrap in real carbon for you.

I remember the days of laying CF for for formula SAE cars, Even got poisoned by resin once. I don't really put much of a premium on carbon fiber parts after doing that, unless it's for function, These days I don't feel like cringing every time a parking lot elevation occurs, so my criteria for a lip was flexibility and durability. Plus Lexus would have slapped a PU or PP plastic part on as a lip anyway if it came as a OEM part (70K or not), so Like some have said, the PU lip has a more factory appearance. I'd rather drop 1200 on a speed related part but I'm all for people putting their money where they want. If you want a sweet CF lip, go for it! If we all modded the same we would have some pretty boring cars, right?
