Owners with the Bayson lip, did any of you spray paint the lip to even out the texture of the polyurethane lip?

Sorry, what I meant was the dull and polished parts of the polyurethane. My lip is smooth and black also but there are spots on the lip especially on the front where it's noticeable where the polyurethane is buffed to a shine whereas other parts it is dull in color.

Here are my polyurethane splitters. I used 3m and a few screws, be careful with screws because the washer hose runs along the inside of the bumper on the driver side. I'm thinking about eventually getting a full lip but I like how these turned out.

I've got the Bayson lip about to be installed. I'm not sure how good it would look without a paint job--it's just kind of dull black plastic.

I intend to paint mine smoky mica granite (very dark gray somewhat akin to carbon fiber color) along with my OEM spoiler, front grill and emblems. I'm hoping this contrast will look good on my Mercury Metallic. I'm thinking it will look better than just plain black.

Any thoughts on the gray instead of going black? Will likely do a test spray this Friday to see how it's going to look and then make final decision.

Has anyone with the Bayson R lip notice that the screws that came with it are all rusted out?

I haven't installed mine yet, but that's the first thing I noticed when the lip showed up. I replaced all the black screws with stainless as I've done with all mounting hardware in the past

I've had mine on for almost a year and a half in FL as well and noticed the same thing a while back. Just snapped this.

Luckily they are just holding plastic to plastic, so no risk of the rust spreading. Kind of unsightly if you are under the car though.
