Yeah, but for $85K I can get a much faster CTS-V.

The local dealer IS supposed to call me when get a GS-F in though. If they do.

The way the RC F is sitting on showroom floors, I doubt any dealer will be excited about the GS F.

I sat in the RC F and was not impressed by the seats any more than I am by the IS F seats. The seats in the IS F are still some of the best OEM seats I've sat in for support. I've been right seat at the track in a number of cars touted as performance cars with seats so horrible I was getting tossed into the driver at times. The only thing missing from the IS F IMHO is ALR on the front seat belts.

I doubt the RC-F seats will fit in an IS-F...

There's a guy on Instagram that looks like he just got some RCF front seats. Guess we'll see if he puts them in his F.

The upper portion of the RCF seats appear to thinner than those in the ISF, don't know for sure as I haven't measured 'em. If so, they'd provide more rear knee room.

^Oh yeah, thats my partner.. I was the one that got them =D (Insta: gcorrea16)

He's just as excited or more to get to working on custom builds jeje...

we're thinking of how to mold the rears.. either fiberglass or molding a stock F seat.. [[for the sides as the coupe sits flush, RCF, whereas the F has the protruding cushions on the side..]]

I don't mind the ISF seats.. mine are just worn and hot. I have an 03 SRT4 with the 03 Viper seats in it, only back adjustment and they are very heavily bolstered and the most supportive sets ever. Check them out.. Total cheap materials but very very comfortable.. Hell, mine are 12 years old and still look new.

If I could get ISF seats with a cooler in them, Id be down with that. The RCF and GSF seats look almost the same to me..

Regarding how the cooling works, Its just a fan like an air hockey table. I had an ES350 as a loaner which I was getting the ELF recall done on my F, I pulled the seat out to see how it worked lol.. Its just a fan that pulls air from the vent under the seat up into the seat..

Scorpionge, How do you like the CV7s? hows the fitment? I was about to order some a few months back but didn't want to mess with my flush stockers lol.. Im due to new tires in the front, So i was thinking about doing it soon incase I need different size tires.

I believe the RCF comes with ventilated seats not cool.

On the 2nd GEN IS - for example my 2008 IS350 - back in the day.

The ventilated seats work on their own.. They don't need to have the A/C on..

Now if it's cooler in the car, the cooler the air sucked into the seats.

Below is an example (use eBay) of how the inner workings of a non ventilated and ventilated Lexus IS seat components look like.

Supposedly, the reason why the IS F lacks the use of the ventilating motors, was due to extra bolsters and support they provided compared to the regular 2nd Gen IS seats. Not enough room.

I expect the RC F and even new IS to use these similar motors.. Maybe they are a bit thinner now.

Well, I really liked them, no rubbing issues or bacon fenders at stock height using full sizes.. but changed them already and Im more than happy with the VFS2 Fitment with Pirelli nt555's

so.. in less than a week I went from VOSSEN VFS2/PIRELLI PZERO ---> VOSSEN VFS1/NITTO NT555R

ENJOY!!!
