I love the RCF seats over the ISF seats. Plus they are air conditioned. Does anyone know if it is a direct bolt on? (obviously the wiring would need to be retrofitted) If it is.. Where might one find RCF seats? the dealer does not sell them as a unit, but as parts and said it would be thousands to build one..
The best part about the seats is that the harness holes have no function
To answer your question: wait until RCF owners realize the harness holes have no function, and subsequently buy them secondhand

They are not harness holes, otherwise there would be a harness bar behind them
Better question, what kind of plumbing do you need to get the cooling to work...or what plumbing to the 3rd generation cars have that ALLOWS for the cooling?
Also, I love the perforated leather on the 3rd gen cars.

If I'm not mistaken, the seats are cooled by simply blowing air which is pulled in from under the seat when the A/C is on. Not sure if there are any additional air ducts routed under the seats for that.

There weren't any special ducts in the '06 IS350 I had. The only time I noticed anything with the cooled seats was when I was wearing a very light fabric. With jeans, you can't feel a thing, and the "cooling" all depends on airflow. There is nothing to actually transport heat away from the seat.
I was given the opportunity to drive a new es350 for a week while my radiator and fans were getting replaced and the ac seats on that was amazing, I mean amazing.. I did notice myself being a lot calmer in traffic too
