Default Just got a 2008 ISF!!

Loving this car, I had a 2012 mustang gt then a stage2+ B8 S4 and a Fiat 500 Abarth and this thing is awesome, maybe not quite as fast but the most fun to drive by far.

I live in south Florida if anyone wants to do some drives or has some tips for this beast feel free to let me know!!

so far I deleted the 2nd cats and mufflers and the sound is great, I wanted loud but not crazy, my mustang was insanely loud and it got old.

Im thinking about headers and 100 shot but don't want to have any issues with reliability and Im not familiar with NOS at all. Ive been reading that the stock intake is the best as far as power so Ive held out on that for the time being.

I would love to break into the 11's on motor so I'm planning on super sticky tires and lightweight wheels, headers. other than that Im not too familiar with the car

Welcome to the club. The headers will add a crap load of power, especially without secondary or no cats at all. Get some new O2 sensors for the install, in lieu of trying to pull the ones from the factory headers, they tend to get stuck in there.

For the intake, you can get the HPS or Joe-Z, and a dry drop in air filter, otherwise I wouldn't make any other mods to it.

Nitrous, that is a whole other thing that I have not experienced as of yet. Some folks are running it without issues. Probably worth the research on which kit to get and what to expect.

With headers and no cats, you'd probably be around 375-390 RWHP..........with the Nitrous you'd break 400 without issues. Not sure if that will put you in the 11's, definitely in the mid 12's, but one thing is for sure, it will be FAST!

Thanks!! Im for sure going to do the headers, like you said should game some sweet power.

NOS im not so sure about yet. think i would rather do full suspension and some sticky tires

Im getting the fever haha! I can't find anywhere to buy the Joe-z but ill have to look at the HPS I haven't seen that one yet.

Thanks for the Tips!!

Definitely welcome to CL and the F family! There is a plethora of info regarding the IS F from owners who've done things similar to what you're trying to achieve with your F, so feel free to either search away or even ask members. For the most part it's a real chill community and a great level of respect for one another.

Have a blast with her and post some pics when you get the chance!

ISF do mid to high 12s stock. Getting into 11s shouldn't be to difficult with NOS and full bolt ons
