They appear to be the exact same color as the '08 Wheels. They are also not visually identical on the face as the ISF wheels are. The 10" rears have a deeper mounting recess than the 9" fronts. Also, each spoke is not hollowed out in the back as with the Samurai wheel, each spoke has a solid face - front and back.

The weights are - 10" = 28.0 lbs - 9"= 25.5 lbs.

And Joe, I probably paid too much for them, $1850. with no tires. But I did get new lugs nuts and new TPMS modules and valves. The S04s are another $900. mounted and balanced.

Lou
Lou I realize it is in AZ somewhere, but can you relay to me where you obtained those tires for $900 OTD? The warehouses I deal with locally are about $795-$805 for the 245/285's, and Tire Rack is about $880 delivered. $900 seems like a great deal, particularly for those sizes.

Thanks.

^^^^Discount Tire (America's Tire in Calif.). However, I'm pretty close with Discount Tire Management, I send them a lot of business. Some one off the street would not be able to do as well.

On another note - I've learned in this thread that wheels seems to be a very personnel thing for our members here. And some folks criticize (myself included) others in inappropriate ways. This of course causes more anger. Not healthy IMHO

Lou
I think these are the best looking wheels for the RCF. They look good on the ISF as well.

Do you happen to know the offset of the back wheels? I would like to go with 295s for the rears but I'm pretty sure it'll rub with my current offset. The 275s PSS currently on the car just don't provide enough traction for clean launches. Perhaps I can get away with just a roll on the 295s.

Edit: I just saw the offset posted at the beginning of this thread. My wheels have an offset of 42 but they're only 9.5" wide. Hopefully I can get away with just a roll.

The 2012+ wheels have a +51 offset and are 9.5" wide. I have 275 PSS on them and I have a little room without rolling fenders. Any less offset or any wider tire and I would expect to be rolling at a minimum.

I calculated that with the additional offset and wider wheels the inside edge is .06" closer to the outside of the car and the outside edge of my rear wheels now are 1.06" further out than the stockers. With the lesser offset and wider wheels the inside edge of my front wheels is now .7" closer to the "A" suspension arm (hence my comment earlier about how close it was) and the outside edge is .3" further out than the stock wheels. I wish the rear offset had remained the same as the 2012 wheels. The roll does seem to correct my rubbing problem. But, I have not yet had anyone in the back seat. 99% of the time my back seat remains empty

A 5mm spacer in the front would give you factory offset. Do you think there is room for it? I am curious because I would really like even more tire up front, but the fender well size doesn't look like it will be agreeable to more than a 255.

Are you thinking about trying that with the '12 wheels you have now? I know of at least two CL members that are running tires wider than 255 up front.

KJH has 265s, but they appear to be aftermarket wheels - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post9299538

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Rafi from RR Racing is running a 275 squared set-up.

Since your RCF wheels, which are 10" wide with a +41 offset, are fine with just a roll with the 295s, I think I should be fine with just a roll on 295s as well. My 9.5" wheels with an offset of +42 and 275 PSS tires still have about 1/2" from the top of the tire to the fender because they have a mild stretch. The 295s would stick out 0.4" more.
