Sounds like everyone is confusing basic maintenance and actual repairs. Yes, a 100k car will need basic maintenance. The only weak links that I'm aware of are the water pump and door panels. Ironically the water pump is cheaper and easier to install than the door panels.
I wouldn't sweat a 100k IS-F, if the price is right

That sounds about right from a dealer but once you add tax you're looking at almost $28K.
While I was on my way to KC to pick up an 08 Mercury Silver ISF with 93K miles for $22.5, I found another one in Philadelphia with less miles and bought that one instead. If you're interested, I can PM you the owner of the one in KC. It was super clean and I even paid for a PPI at Lexus that I can send you the report on. The car was bone stock with the exception of the side view mirrors and front grill wrapped in a carbon fiber decal that you can easily remove.

But I'm really trying to get an IS-F that's already in CA...
I don't mind shipping in an IS-F, but I'll have to go thru out of state inspection and smog...I'm looking at the pearl white 2008 today...if I buy, I'll post pics, if not, I'll be back on this forum searching...so far, the 08 Mercury Silver you passed on is the cheapest I've heard of.
Thanks and stay tune.

Will provide what was done. I did this prior to recently picking up mine. Was services at Lexus during the warranty period and even after.
I wouldn't worry much about the miles just get the maintenance done once you purchase the car. If it's an 08 you can see if the Lexus dealership will do the water pump recall.

I recently picked up my F in Dallas w/ over a 100k. The miles don't scare me on these cars compared to what kind of condition they are in. The car had two previous owners all of which had service records recorded which was a plus for me. Clean title, no accidents, interior and exterior was very clean. I did a check over about every inch of the car for leaks, wear in certain areas... the buyer even let me jack the car up to check a few things. So long story short I drove out paying a lot less than I expected. I agree with what's stated... Its all about service history and visual condition of the car...
