X-Force Exhaust - Review

X-Force Exhaust - Review
Since this hit the market I think many including myself were a bit hesitant to buy due to the price. For those of you who didn't catch it I compared the X-Force side by side to my Joe-Z so be sure to check that out if you haven't.
Last night I installed the exhaust and it fit pretty good. The way it is sectioned makes installing on the ground pretty easy.(I used jack stands) To me the fit and finish was perfect it went together smooth and had no leaks with the supplied gaskets except for the manifold. (See Below)
Install Note:
* They provide all of the appropriate gaskets with the exhaust. One of which is for the manifold. DO NOT use the supplied gasket as they will leak. (Ask me how i know) Instead use the factory crush washer. I used a little high temp sealant on both sides and it worked great.
* When bolting up the exhaust leave everything finger tight then once everything is lines up start from the work your way back tightening everything down. Because the exhaust is so sectioned compared to the others if you tighten as you go you will have problems getting everything to line up.
* The exhaust tips are to long and they do hit the quad tips. So you will have to cut a half inch off
* The exhaust hangers are figured for a euro model so you will have to grind off the hangers and relocate them as shown.

Ok now on to my impressions.
The exhaust sounds great! I have 200 miles on it so far both city and highway. For all of you who keep asking or wondering about drone your answer is NO DRONE. Smooth sound loud but not overly loud I would say its the same as the Joe-Z. No check engine codes are present either.
To me this is a no brainier if your looking for exhaust. While the craftsmanship isnt to par with Joe-Z the design is essentially the same and would bet that it flows just as good
I will post videos tomorrow for all of you. Hope this helps some people and feel free to ask questions I'm happy to help.
By the way I installed the RR-Racing intake and tune along with gutting the cats and installing this exhaust. The car is amazing NIGHT AND DAY. Do yourself a favor and use the money saved from buying this exhaust and get the tune

which factory crush washer the 1 from the headers to the xforce exhaust. I used a little high temp sealant on both sides and it worked great. What kind of sealant did you use and where and how much did you apply it? Sorry to ask so many questions but I have a )2 code on mine.

oh yeh he did, apologies
hopefully in car also just so we can get an idea re 'no drone'
I cant believe a company would release an exhaust which will be popular due to the price point and not atleast have a few professional vids or even just go pro vids of the product..
maybe they assumed everyone would just get it and chuck it online so word of mouth i guess..
