One is that the leather seats get warm over the course of the trip and two is the suspension can be jarring over moderate road imperfections. Otherwise it's great and I can't really stay near 70 (speed limit).

A couple of mildly interesting incidents happened. One was some dumb Camaro (not sure which version) trying to pass me on the right when there's a convoy of slow traffic ahead of me in the left lane. Not sure why people try to do this when they can just peek around and see what's causing the hold up. He then proceeds to tailgate me for w/e reason...maybe hoping that I would let him by into the slow traffic? It's super tempting to brake check, but that's a bit too much. So once the traffic clears and there's open road ahead of me, I go into manual mode and drop the hammer. I get into Mexico speeds in a flash and leave him well behind. Eventually he figures out what happened and flies by me, but only after I slowed back down to reasonable speeds and moved into the right lane. Didn't want to race him but just wanted to give him a taste of my exhaust.

The other incident was going through the toll plaza on the way home. The freaking toll collector asked, "Is that the 8 cylinder? The F?" I don't really expect anyone to recognize the car, especially not some random guy in a toll booth. Would've gave him an extra buck if I could, lol.
Sometime you got to show them what's up, but get radar detector just in case 😊

Uh, the encouragement is nice, but it's a bit too late

Perhaps the thread title should be changed to "Thought of trading in '14 IS350 Fsport for ISF, so I did"

+1 on this comment. What upgrades are you getting for the F, I'm already on a roll with parts, coilovers, 2012 Led headlights, 2014 tail light from SpecD, front Lip, PPE headers, HKS SSM exhaust, all on the way. Thinking about getting the 2012 clusters well. Now to find time to install everything lol

Looking into getting a Borla exhaust, but I want to hear it in person first before I pull the trigger. As for suspension, I don't see myself doing a lot of track days, so I'm looking at the BC coilovers with swift spring upgrade. Also looked at the 2012 stock suspension or replacing the shocks with Blisteins. The other for sure mod I'll be getting is USRS. Headers may come in the future...we'll see.

As for cosmetic stuff, I'm considering the seibon CF hood. Just wondering if it's a good idea since I park outside in Florida, lol.

What's the going rate for stock 2012 suspension? Depending on the amount, I may be willing to sell mine to put toward a set of track wheels.

Sorry to bring this year old thread back, but I'm actually looking to trade my 2016 is300 for 2010-11 ISF, I went from a 335 to is300 and what a power decrease. I thought I would be OK with it but dam I miss the power. There aren't very many ISF's up here so I told my dealer to keep an eye out if anyone trades one in. I would import one from the US if the Canadian dollar wasn't so low, who knows maybe Trump will tank your economy and dollar and make my dreams of getting an ISF come true..lol
