Headlight replacement from moisture
Hello I am new here. Can't post in the for sale area yet, so I thought I would ask here.
The recent rains here in so cal gave me some bad condensation in the driver headlight and now the headlight is out. I have already swapped in a new bulb, so it seems like the ballast has gone bad. Does anyone know where I can get a used headlight? Or anyone have one for sale? I have a 2008.
I have looked online and can't seem to find the HID version.
Thanks!

Probably worth mentioning what year your F is my friend.
Should help other owners identify which type of headlight you are looking for.
You might consider splitting the current unit and resealing it? Probably cheaper if you have some skill with these types of things?
Hope you get it fixed soon.

That is easier said than done. There are not many sets out there for under 2k and it requires re-pinning. I have considered just picking up another set of 08-10 headlights to pull apart and mess with, but you from what I am finding you can only find them on eBay for a fortune with broken tabs.
BTW I am in the same boat as you with the 30 day classifieds freeze. It seems kinda crazy that I can't post WTB ads.
