A couple shops are using the same generic obd flasher for the lexus....IIRC,my friend ordered an OBD tune for his RCF in a russian or UK company/shop,and the handheld device is similar....(i know some you guys are thinking there is no tune for the RCF yet,how did this happen?) I posted something last year about a tune for the isF,a shop in the UK called TMC is selling a small device that plugs into the OBD to upload the tune, engine & transmission tune together......but many had replied to my post it is impossible, its fake,etc...etc....
2 of my friends bought and tried it for their rcf and isf...the noticed a gain in performance and shifting became more aggressive......i wanted to buy the tune also, but i kept reading people's post here....so i thought nevermind, ill just wait........anyway to cut the story short.....
I wasnt that surprised to hear the tune is available...i was actually waiting for a U.S. based company to discover the reflash for the F....so it seems like the shops/tuners now have the generic obd flasher and they have different tunes...
The main reason i went with RRRacing is because i know they have a track car isF and this tells me they know what they're doing...they know how when the engine is unde stress and they know the limits....some tuners might just want an increase in HP but turns out on the track, the car is under so much stress it is doing more bad than good to the engine...
Well anyway,i ordered mine 1 or 2 weeks ago from rafi and waiting to be shipped

We are developing our own handheld device This is going to allow flashing and logging. So what that means is once available we will be able to provide custom tunes remotely via data logging using our new handheld tool.
As we stated from the beginning our early adopter customers do not suffer for being early adopters. All revisions and updates will be provided to them at no charge. Also for our customers that have our gen 1 handheld unit you will still be able to do everything that our new handheld unit can do, we will just have to provide you a cable for the data logging.

I'm pasting this from the track/dyno sticky. I don't know what to tell you guys.
Last night I finally had a chance to go back to the track to see if I would get any improvement from the mods. Usually this track is well prepped but unfortunately last night it wasn't. It was pretty bad and I even did a 360 in one of the runs. My brother got it on video and I also had an inside cam but I won't post it lol. Needless to say, of the five runs I did, I couldn't get a clean launch and the times were disappointing. I tried feathering the throttle and all but it just wouldn't hook so I resorted to short shifting first and second on my last run. I've had better launches in the street than last night at the track.
Base run with Borla cat back a few years ago.
Mods: Sikky headers, borla exhaust, RR Racing tune, light weight wheels wrapped in 245/275 Michelin PSS.
Left was my first and best run. Even though I spun the car kept a straight line and I didn't have to feather the throttle as much. The rest of the runs the car tried to get sideways. The video is from this run
Right was my last run. I short shifted first at about 4500 rpm and second at about 6000 rpm.

I definitely need more practice launching the car with the added power. I can't no longer just mash the pedal like a few years ago.
Edit:
I just took it to the dyno and more disappointments. It was a dynojet. 1 st pull in 6 th gear it made 307hp, second pull in 5 th gear it made 329hp and the 3rd pull in 4th gear it made 362hp.
