Default Right tire size. ISF

I have a question I currently have 235/40/19 in the front on my isf and they are rubbing a lot on turns, and I wanted to go down to 235/35/19 and I was wondering those the 35 have less of a load capacity? Then the 40 or what is the main difference between the to sizes? Thanks

I had 225/40/19 and they didn't rub but when I got a wider tire it's started rubbing, it doesn't make sense to get 245/35/19 because it even wider then 235?

Depends on what wheels your running? You on stock wheels? Or aftermarket?

Most of the guys here that are running upsized tires are running 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 me included and I don't rub with aftermarket wheels with a +40 offset up front width 8.5" and a +45 offset in the rear width 9.5"

Most of the time if you have issues rubbing it's because of a aggressive offset with aftermarket wheels

Running same exact tire sizes as MileHi on stock wheels with zero rubbing as well, as everyone said 245/35 is the one to look at

Stock tire size
225 x .40 = 90
90/25.4 = 3.543
3.543" x 2 + 19 = 26.086" tall

235 x .40 = 94
94/25.4 = 3.7"
3.7" x 2 + 19 = 26.4" tall

235 x .35 = 82.25
82.25/25.4 = 3.238"
3.238" x 2 + 19 = 25.476" tall

To the op... are you on the stock front wheel? Stock suspension height?

Seems a change solely from a 225/40 to a 235/40 shouldn't have you "rubbing a lot in turns" unless there are additional changes made to your F.

Thanks Lou for the chart addressing the poster's issues.

You can run 245 35 19 or 255 35 19 with no problems
