I've had tubular headers coated in the past. I'd heard it made a big difference in under hood heat and sound, don't know about performance.
I did purchase the headers un coated and then had them coated inside and out by a local company.

Will always do the same in the future. Coating makes a difference.

So are you suggesting to wrap only down to where all the tubbings meet?

my car is unfortunately DD, and we do get rains here in L.A. once in a while.

Get it done. On my set for isf I bought it with it. On another car and ppe set I cheaper out and got just SS. Now I wish I just did it. Asking local places seem to charge similar or more.

Mine will be around 250.00 but the driving distance is breaking the cost even. Only reason i opted them before ( Embee Performance) is because of previous work they have done and its quality is worth it.

Any one ever use this to coat the inside of their headers or any other DIY coatings? Looking for some suggestions. Thanks.

10yrs of DD, 9yrs from Suburbs to NYC in winter were they use rock salt to melt ice snow and ice spring summer and fall. Had my PPE headers Jet hot coated silver they have since become white color but look at condition from 0miles to 103kmiles they look damn good no cracks no issues. I've been FBO and Tuned for yrs.

They are light whitish silver color from original silver color from 9yr ago.

If you're going to spend money on a coating, find someone who can do Cerakote. It's hard to find a resource now because the world's military organizations are all getting their firearms coated with this stuff. It's really that good.
