Default Wheel fitment

Looking to the forum for help on deciding on tire size and if the FIGS racing arms will be needed, and/or any additional equipment.

I will be lowering on KW v3 and I've narrowed my wheel selection to the following specs:

19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +22

I'm also aware that I will need to roll/pull my fenders to make this setup a reality.

Any help is appreciated for whom have gone for aggressive setups.

Depends on how low you take it, the front will be ok with some minor work to the fender liner.
The rear will need fender rolling/pull and the figs kit will help also camber kit.
Tire sizing will play a part in fitment also

Fivepoint0 mentioned pretty much everything. The offsets are a bit on the aggressive side, so there will be a need for camber. If you're looking for performance tires, to keep from rubbing, the FIGS kit will help with some camber.

19x9.5+22 !?! Thats a little aggressive . Damn ! Why not get a set that fits a little easier ?? Or are you going for a stance/hellaflush look ?? More power to you bro. Good luck

Thanks for the input guys. It looks like there's quite a bit of work to be done to fit a +22. Not too big on stretching tires. Looks like I'll step down a bit and go with 19x9.5 +40 all around. Does this tire sizing look good or do you recommend something else?

235/35/19 front
265/30/19 Rear

You probably couldn't pick worse sizes for mechanical performance. Way off the OEM diameters.

Many have chosen 245/35 and 275/30, front and rear respectively. Both of these options keep the diameter similar to the ones from the stock set up. Deviating from it too much will result in a decrease in performance. The sizes that you had chosen have a lower load rating thank stock tires, so typically the 245/275 combo is much more in keeping with increased load rating and closer diameter and revolutions per mile. It's not exact, but the deviation is far less than the sizes you were considering.

Best of luck!

Thanks Brian. Just found the thread that Lance detailed on what people were running vs oem vs what he was running. Definitely informative.

If you're looking for aesthetics, either one of those specs will be right on the money. I'm pretty similar and have the same sized tires, lowered on Eibach springs and soon to be bags. Looks amazing, and the performance isn't drastically cut like some users suggest (unless you're a track fiend). You won't see a decrease in daily driving, and I drive pretty spirited.

The only fault I have in my setup is these Hankooks that are made of rubberized dog ****. I'd recommend some good tires and you'll be a-ok, minimal rubbing with 2.5* of camber in the rear and pretty much none in the front.

Then again, take into factor that my name is lolfunction and I'm not known for making functional builds. I think the very minimal performance sacrifice for a head turning setup / ride is well worth it. I still have plenty of fun dailying this setup, but I've never had any interested in track days.

My setup, for reference

Hey man. Thanks for the input. I don't see myself hitting up any tracks soon. This is a summer ride and will be static. Looking for thr flush look and perfect fitment without sacaraficing too much performance. Turning heads is always great and your build displays that with the USB

Note that a 235 tire will be stretched on a 9.5" rim.

Pretty sure he's well aware, nothing wrong with a little stretch!

At one time I had a 225/35 on a 18x10, and that's not even very aggressive in the stance world lol.
