Default I know it's been asked before, but can you take traction/stability control FULLY off?

I tried looking on the boards and I read some responses that say you can't FULLY, but I am still hoping there is some way to turn it fully off. The EBD system really interferes on the track and I can feel it wearing out my brakes faster. Any help is appreciated.

I thought holding down the TC button for a bit turns it all off? I could be and am usually wrong.

Yes and no if you hold down the traction control button for five seconds it will turn off traction instability control but if you travel what I believe is over 35 miles an hour the car will turn traction and stability back on.

If you hold it down you should see two orange TC lights come on, from that point on all traction/stability control is off, EXCEPT the E-LSD function, until you restart the car. You COULD do the "pedal dance" to turn off everything but if you are tracking your car, disabling the E-LSD would be creating a sub-optimal performance scenario, I don't think you want that.

A tech told me fully disabling trac stability control fully off gets you off the line faster. Is this true?

You need a bit of slip to get the best launch from a RWD car from what I have read, something like 10-15% but I could be completely wrong.

And ya the E-LSD would be good to keep on, but is that what I am hearing when I am making really tight turns? I sometimes think the rapid braking sound is from the EBD system, but if it is from the E-LSD then I don't mind.

You cannot turn EBD or Brake Assist off no matter what you do. If you want to add more rear brake, you'll have to do it with caliper selection.

Unplug the skid control ECU and you lose a lot of things, haha. Including your speedometer and low-speed power steering assist, but hey, things are off.

This is how to do it. If you don't have a clutch type LSD, it is a mistake. AMHIK.
