Like I stated before, the price on the Hayward website isn't accurate. Even my price wasn't accurate as both sides of the party forgot to calculate other costs. If I were making $400 per cost, I would import a 100 of them.

I'm not here enforcing anyone to purchase the exhaust, I'm simply offering the exhaust for the US market as Hayward found it easier for them to import a batch of exhausts at once versus individually shipping them.

Obviously, I have to make some sort of profit to cover the expense of bringing over ten exhaust systems, + the outrageous shipping costs, + currency difference, + foreign transaction fees, etc...

I'm not trying to sell overpriced items, simply trying to bring a new, desired exhaust system to the US..

I personally put the exhaust on my ISF and never plan on taking it off.

The price on H&S's website is OBVIOUSLY skewed and not for the US market. That price is probably if you lived in the UK.

You don't know what it takes to run an automotive parts business, and just how close you have to cut your prices to what you pay the manufacturer so that buyers don't go to the next vendor willing to take less of a profit just to make a sale. Josh is making a profit, but it isn't what you think it is and he isn't ripping any of you off to stuff his pockets.

I haven't considered buying any new parts from anyone but Josh since BEFORE I bought my IS-F because of the attention and honesty he gave me.

Josh in that description is says, "The photos show the tips ceramic coated black, which costs extra, tailpipes come polished as standard."

To me that sounds like it can be an option. Any way to contact them to ask how much more it'll be to have it done over there and come that way?

Yeah no problem. The black tip option was done by Pete, over in the UK, not associated with Hayward and Scott.

As long as they look exactly like the picture it shouldn't be that big of a deal, you can always get them ceramic coated locally at a shop.

Would probably work out cheaper in fact.

H&S did outsource mine to another company, but it was quite pricey. I've also noticed the coating is wearing off in some places, so need them re-coating soon!

I'd find a local firm guys. Sure Josh can locate something??
