Default tire questions

so i recently purchased a new set of wheels and now i am looking for new tires to put on this bad boys. i have a few questions about fitment. wheels specs are 19x8.5 +45 front and 19x9.5 +42 rear. i am basically looking to up size the tires without rubbing, the tire sizes i have in mind are 245/35/19 maybe a 255/35/19 for the front, foe the back i would like to run a 275/30/19 or a 285/30/19.

tire brands will be michelin pss or Bridgestone s-04

the car is my daily driver and i won't be using at the track at all but i do some aspirated driving most of the time.

let me know the ups and downs as well if i would need any mods with any of this setups. thanks

I drive aspirated normally. Been also driving hydrated, record rainfall here lately.

Reading a lot here lately about tire sizes. It seems like many agree that the 255/35 & 275/30 is worthwhile.

Which rims did you score?

You'll be fine on the front for sure (no rubs), since you're at the stock offset & ride height. I can't speak for certain for the rear with the 42mm, maybe someone else can chime in.

The G25s are a great choice. Very high quality & up to the standard of the rest of the vehicle.

For the wheels the OP has chosen, I would run 255/35/19 and 285/30/19. The OP is on the right track Those offsets should work just fine.

so you are saying i would be fine with the wider tires and have absolutely no rubbing issues at stock height?

reason i wanna make sure is because as most of you know this tires have to be special order, i dont want to deal with rubbing issues or even returning them as i dont think i can drive with them and bring them back lol

thanks for the reply Lou

^^^^I'm saying that I ran the 245/35/19, 285/30/19 combo when I had stock 8s and 9s (+44F/+55R) offset with no issues whatsoever.

I am now running 255/35/19, 295/30/19 on RCF wheels 9s and 10s. Offset is +50F and +41R. I have no issues in front, but I had to roll the rear fenders.

With your slightly narrower wheel and tire combo, I see no issues.

I was and still am on Bridgestone S-04s.
